Ribera del DueroOUR VINEYARD.

The winery has 35 hectares of own vineyards 95%, 2% Cabernet Suavignon, 1% Merlot y 2% Albillo. Our vineyards are located in areas with large variation in soils and orientations, allowing us to produce different wines by the characteristics of the terruños in which they find themselves. All plots are on the slopes, reaching 940 meters of altitude.

The age of the vineyards is between 12 and 100 years. The cultivation is carried out under the guidelines of organic farming, carried out with the utmost respect to the vineyard and nature, following the ideas of biodynamic agriculture. Driving systems shipped depend on the grape variety and microclimate where the vines are developed; 70% of the vineyard is driven by the glass and 30% in arbor with different characteristics, vertical vessels, Smart Dyson.

MAKING AND AGING

The Vintage is carried out manually in boxes of 12 kilograms. To later introduce in a cold room at 6°C.

Subsequently, the selection of clusters in a tape bands are appropriate, are stemmed and the grapes are deposited on a vibrating table where you select it.

The grape is introduced to gravity in the deposit where it will take place the alcoholic fermentation.

The grapes are proceed from each farm is made independently which allows to know the possibilities of each terroir.

Fermentation takes place in three types of deposits processing of different material: French oak, stainless steel, concrete tanks.

La wine cellar has a park consisting of 650 French oak barrels in which fermentation takes place malolactic and aging on lees by Battonague.

In short, the winery continues in order to produce quality wines that express the characteristics of the terroir where the vine grows.
